Cosmo Seeds - Psyche Puff

One of our forever favorites, this mix of snow puff and psyche gives us a nice cosmo pink with a mix of ruffled and spiked petals. Photo shown on the front is the mother plant, all of our seeds are open pollinated and we grow several varieties of cosmos, so there are some beautiful differences to be expected in the next generation.
How to grow cosmos:
Plant 2” apart. ½” deep - thin to 8-12” apart (we leave 12” because we prune our plants early, so they get huge!) Start indoors in late winter and plant out after the first frost, or direct sow after the first frost. Snip top of plant off when three sets of true leaves emerge, continue this practice for the life of the plant, letting flowers bloom and then snipping each stem to within three sets of leaves from the base of the stem. This encourages branching plants up to 7’ tall which will produce more and more blooms until first frost. Cosmos grows best in fertile, well drained soils in full sun.
